Tours and activities - At sea
Diving
Taveuni is home to some of the world’s most famous dive sites and is consistently ranked one of the top ten best scuba sites in the world. Our warm tropical waters host approximately 390 species of corals and over 1500 species of fish – many unique to Fiji!
Diving the Rainbow Reef and Somosomo Straits is one of experiences of a lifetime that will remain with you forever. The massive up welling of plankton in combination with enormous tidal water movement through this narrow channel creates a feeding frenzy for all filter feeding invertebrates. Consistently rated as one of the world's top dive sites, Taveuni is one of the ticks all divers dream to mark off their bucket list. The shear density of life and biodiversity of our reefs are truly world class. The Great White Wall, The Purple Wall, The Zoo, The Fish Factory, and list goes on and on, are the names that legend are made of. We use Taveuni's best dive team and their professionalism and safety record are without equal. Needless to say whether it's an intro dive or your thousandth dive, Taveuni will truly amaze you!
Snorkeling on Rainbow reef
Don’t miss the unique world class snorkeling on shallow parts of the stunning Rainbow reef! The snorkeling is every bit as good as the diving and the bonus is you can see all the colors of the reef as they actually exist in shallow water sunlight. Scuba Divers below 10 meters need to use lights to expose the many colors of the reef, but snorkeling you can enjoy the rainbow of colors as they actually appear in sunlight. It really is a "don't miss" on Taveuni for everyone!
